The Fix It Group 23 run The MMC Repair Café on a Sunday every four to six weeks and the Bradgate Arms Repair Café on a Monday evening every few weeks . If you are unable to make it to one of our Repair Café events, we have created a Local Repair Café Directory for Charnwood. We are proud to recommend these other like-minded groups and organisations who may have an alternative event suitable for you to attend!
MMC Repair Café
The MMC Repair Café is a free community event, managed by the Fix it Group 23 and located at the MMC Café, focused on repairing things. You can bring a broken household item to the café where a volunteer will assess the item and will either fix it - whilst your grab a coffee and cake in the café - or will help you make a plan for how and where to get the item fixed.

Bradgate Arms Repair Café
The Bradgate Arms Repair Café is a free community event, managed by the Fix it Group 23 and located at the Bradgate Arms in Cropston, focused on repairing things. You can bring a broken household item to the event where a volunteer will assess the item and will either fix it or help you make a plan for how and where to get the item fixed- all whilst you enjoy the perfect pint of cask ale, guest beers, traditional lagers and ciders or put an end to that rumble in your stomach with a meal served in the fantastic dining area!

Transition Loughborough Repair Café
Transition Loughborough have people who can tackle clothing repairs, mechanical items, electrical fixing and garden tool sharpening. So if you’ve got something that isn’t working and you’re considering binning it and buying a replacement, try bringing it along to the Repair Café and see if one of the volunteer fixers can mend it for you. Repairs are free, though they would appreciate a donation of your choosing to fund the event.

Woodhouse Eaves Plastic Free Repair Cafe
Do you have something that is destined for the tip - but if it could be repaired you would carry on using it? Bring it along to the next Woodhouse Eaves Plastic Free Repair Cafe. Their repairers will attempt to fix the item or advise you on how to fix it at home. Repair cafes aim to educate us all on how to fix items - or at least have a go before we throw it away. All repairs are completed free of charge. If you are able to give a donation, it will go towards the cost of the hall. The only items that are chargeable are watch batteries and any work B-Buddies do after your free maintenance check.
