The Fix it Group 23 is a not-for-profit voluntary community interest organisation that is fully insured, set up to support people during difficult times and to reduce the number of items going to landfill and expensive to run recycling facilities until it is absolutely necessary.

We organise regular Repair Cafés across Charnwood providing free of charge services to the local community.

“Isn’t being one of your sponsors going to be expensive?”

In short, no! Sponsorship packages start from as little as £50! Given the high cost of traditional methods of advertising, we think this represents great value for you. Also, because it’s a sponsorship, you can offset the cost against your tax because it is treated like an expense to your business. Please see HMRCs website for more details.

“What will our money be used for?

The money will be used contribute to our essential running and maintenance costs. Being a not-for-profit group, our aim is to simply break even each year; but with the current economic climate, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to achieve that without the generosity of our valued sponsors who believe in us and allow us to continue doing what we do!

“Will the money be used to pay your staff?

No! All our trustees who form are management committee are are unpaid volunteers. They are supported by the invaluable service of our dedicated Volunteer Repairers, who give up their own time to support the group. We all do our jobs, because we want the group to be a success and to give back to the community.

“How much does each package cost and what does it include?”

We have various sponsorship types ranging from £50 to £200. We are also willing to discuss bespoke options, with these being POA.
